TDIU Vocational Assessment Cost

Every TDIU claim is different, and so is every assessment. A typical vocational assessment is $1,600, though the fee depends on the complexity of your case and the volume of medical records involved. Testimony, when needed, is quoted separately.

We'll talk through your situation before any work begins, so you'll know what to expect — and what it will cost — before you decide.

What Your Assessment Includes

Why We Are Not The Cheapest

We’re not the lowest-priced TDIU vocational expert, and that’s deliberate.

What a report costs matters far less than whether it holds up. A successful TDIU claim means compensation at the 100% rate for the rest of a veteran’s life. A report that a VA rater or Board judge finds thin or templated isn’t a bargain at any price.

Over 20 years focused on TDIU. Not general vocational rehabilitation with occasional VA work — this is the practice.

CRC certification and a graduate degree in rehabilitation counseling. Credentials in this field vary widely. VA raters and Board judges notice.

Two decades working alongside veteran disability attorneys. The reports are written for the audience that actually reads them.

Individually prepared.   No two veterans with the same diagnosis have the same vocational profile.

Common Questions About Pricing

How much does a TDIU vocational expert cost?
A typical assessment from TDIU Expert is $1,600. Across the industry, fees range from roughly $900 to over $5,000.

Why does the price vary?
Fees depend on case complexity and the volume of medical records requiring review. A veteran with two service-connected conditions and a short treatment history requires less analysis than one with a decade of records across multiple providers.

How long does it take?
Reports are typically delivered within 10 business days of the completed vocational interview.

Is testimony included?
No. Deposition and Board of Veterans’ Appeals testimony is quoted separately.

Do I need an attorney to hire a vocational expert?
No. Veterans can engage us directly, and many clients come through their VA disability attorney. We coordinate with counsel either way.

Can you guarantee my claim will be approved?
No — and no vocational expert ethically can. The VA decides claims. What we provide is thorough, well-documented vocational evidence addressing the employability question the VA has to answer.
